Rolling Stone Indonesia reports that US version of The Raid, The Raid: Redemption will have a limited screening in selected theaters in Indonesia starting May 16. The Raid twitter page has posted photos of The Raid team with Linkin Park as well as Mike’s video message to Indonesian fans.

First of all reminder that Linkin Park will be performing live on 2012 Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas this Sunday, May 20. The show airs on ABC at 8:00 PM ET.

Linkin Park announced that they will be be hosting their 6th International LPU Summit on August 17 in Camden, New Jersey. Passes for the Summit will be available to LPU members only starting Saturday, May 19 at 12:00 PM ET only at LPUnderground.com. Full details below

LPU Summit in Camden, NJ Announced

We are excited to announce that will be be hosting our 6th? International LPU Summit on August 17 in Camden, NJ*. Previous LPU Summit’s have taken place in London, Sydney, Chicago, Hamburg and Tokyo and included activities such as meet & greets with Linkin Park, backstage tours, walking across the stage, a jam band using LP’s gear, watching soundchecks, acoustic sets by Linkin Park, Q&A’s and more.

Passes for the Summit will be available to LPU members only starting? Saturday, May 19 at 12:00 PM ET only at LPUnderground.com.** Summit passes are FREE for LPU Plus Pass ($60) members as a benefit to your membership. If you have a $25 LPU pass, you can purchase a Summit pass for $50, or purchase a new $60 LPU Plus Pass membership for a free pass. Members will only be able to reserve ONE Summit pass each, if you have friends who want to try to attend they must JOIN the LP Underground to get access to this benefit.?

There will be ?limited passes available for the Summit, and they will sell out FAST. To ensure you have the best opportunity possible to get a pass, make sure you are online prior to the 12:00 PM ET time. Those fans who are able to reserve a pass in their cart have 20 minutes to check out. If they do not do so in time, the passes are dumped back into the pool. Because of this, if you do not immediately see passes available, you can try refreshing the page throughout the next couple of hours. Please only reserve a pass if you are 100% certain you will be able to travel to the Summit and attend.

Linkin Park’s scavenger hunt continues in Brazil

The Linkin Park scavenger hunt continues, the clue in Chicago is a t-shirt with the word “Brazil” on it, @JustinSohn1 picked up the clue and tweeted a picture. The tag on the shirt has a message that says, “the next clue is within the gates of Fort Copacabana. Take the opportunity to eat some traditional sweets, cakes and waffles. May 17, during normal business hours only”. For the latest development on the hunt follow the discussion at LPMB or LPA forum. Linkin Park to perform at the MTV VMAJ 2012

Warner Music Japan has annoucned that Linkin Park will perform at the MTV VMAJ 2012, the event will be held at Makuhari Messe Makuhari Event Hall in Chiba, Japan on June 23. Billboard reports that Linkin Park logs its first Rock Songs No. 1 since “The Catalyst” spent five weeks on top in 2010. At just four weeks, it’s the fastest ascent to the summmit this year.

Volunteers needed for Music For Relief

Music for Relief is seeking volunteers at various Festivals in Europe where Linkin Park is playing. Volunteers will be expected to talk to fans about Music for Relief, distribute earplugs, bandanas and be comfortable taking donations. Interview with Linkin Park and Incubus – 9 News

9 News has a short interview with Chester Bennington and Brandon Boyd about their upcoming Honda Civic Tour in Denver, CO in August.

KUSA – Teaming up for the first time ever, rock bands Linkin Park and Incubus are coming to Colorado in August.

The two bands will perform at the Comfort Dental Amphitheatre on Aug. 30 to what Incubus’ Brandon Boyd hopes to be a “face- melting” show.

Releasing their new album “Living Things” shortly before the tour, Linkin Park front man Chester Bennington hopes to tap into fans and those emotions they feel every day. Their newest single “Burn it Down” addresses some aspects of that.

“It is really speaking about the times in our life where we work really hard to build something, to create something, and we have to take that down and re-evaluate it start doing something else,” Bennington said “There is a joy in that experience as well as turbulence.”

Being in a similar genre, both bands feel that this tour is one that fans will respond well to and expect ticket sales to go well.

“It seemed like a really wonderful opportunity to pair up with another band deep on their path as well, and a band that we had never paired up with before,” Boyd said. “Which it almost seems counterintuitive that we haven’t done shows together before.”

When asked how both the lead singers liked playing in Denver, both commented saying, “there is always an oxygen tank there, even when we do not ask for it.”
